The kit is a simple rivet and bolt together kit, using dacron sail covering. | | Kit build times are reported to be in the 100 to 150 hour range. No special tools are required and the kit can be built in a large garage. Standard features on the X Air include, a 42 inch wide cabin, steerable nosewheel, differential toe brakes, 4 point safety harness, composite nose pod, shock absorbing suspension system, in-flight trim, pre-wired electrical harness, streamlined struts, dual fuel tanks, and quick detach wings.
