Both the Highlander and Escapade use a 4130 chromoly steel fuselage covered in standard aircraft covering materials. The wings use a tube and ladder style of construction with round tube leading and trailing edge spars, again covered in conventional fabric. While the Highlander is a tail dragger, the Escapade is a tri-cycle gear both are tractor configuration aircraft featuring side by side seating, dual controls, and folding wings. Power is supplied by the Rotax 912 four cylinder four stroke engines or the four and six cylinder Jabiru engines. Current delivery times out of the factory are three months, building times are in the 500 hour range with no special tools required. The customer will spend the majority of his or her building times building the wings, covering and painting the plane installing the engine, wiring and instrument installation.
